It all starts with a well prepared Canvas

Permanent Eyeliner Pre-Care

Follow these instructions before your Permanent Eyeliner Service

Preparing your skin the right way assures your session will be complication free, that your skin will accept and retain pigment better, and it makes healing a breeze.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS CLOSELY IN THE WEEKS AND DAYS LEADING UP TO YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Discontinue ALL LASH Growth Serums – they cause bleeding, bruising and increase the risk of serious complications. If you use Lash growth serums within 6 weeks, your appointment will be rescheduled at your expense.

Morning Of Appointment

Please avoid caffeine

Please arrive with a clean makeup free face especially no eye makeup, mascara, eyeliner or lash glue residue

Eat a light nourishing meal

Avoid intense workouts and sauna

Remove contact lenses before your session begins

Special Notes

Please do not schedule eyeliner tattooing if you have had cancer treatments in the last 6 months or have an active cancer diagnosis unless cleared by your dr.

If you have been a HEAVY lash serum user, you may need to discontinue lash serum use for up to 1 year before you can safely receive eyeliner tattooing. I advise people to do research on prolastaglandin, prolastaglandin analogues the active ingredient in popular lash growth serums and consider discontinuing lash growth serums with that ingredient permanently. Instead, Peptide-based serums or simple Castor oil are generally considered a safe alternative.

Eyelids are the most technical and sensitive skin on the human body to tattoo. Failing to follow pre-care may increase risk and so it will lead to rescheduling at your expense.

Tattoos are not recommended if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing medical treatments that affect the skin or immune system. (including but not limited to Accutane, chemotherapy, steroid use)
